The Prize by Julie Garwood

3-star
Saxon sister chooses to marry Norman soldier trainer when forced to choose by King William. She is beset challenges of having to deal with her loyalty to her family & new Norman rule of England as well as trying to have a more equal & loving partnership with her domineering but kind husband.

This Garwood book wasn't too exciting compared to her other books (i.e., The Bride, The Wedding). Romance, sensuality, emotionality, & character development were only ok. Not bad but neither was it impressive.

Partially recommended.
